We were able to attend the Lowe Family Reunion over Fourth of July weekend. Every gathered at the Emerald Forest in Trinidad, CA.
One of our favorite group activities at the family reunion was the sing-along. My Uncle Kim's family was in charge. They made great little song books for everyone. Maddie was so excited about it all.
Maddie enjoyed singing Yankee Doodle so much that she got together a group to sing it to everyone on the final evening of the reunion.
She also had us doing family campfire songs before bed every night while we camped in the Redwoods.
Max loved the sack race and hanging out with Grandpa.
I brought star shaped bubble necklaces for the girls. Turns out, the boys wanted them too. Maddie, Paige and Sydney always have fun time together.

At nightfall on the 4th, we all went over to my Grandmother's house to set off fireworks together.
Max loved the Sparklers. He enjoyed getting into the fireworks action with Grandpa.
Maddie preferred to take a back seat and just watch the show. She and Sydney curled up under blankets in a camp chair and had a great time watching and giggling together.
Maddie was so happy when a neighbor brought over glow bracelets and necklaces.
